About Us
What began as a few volunteers helping out at a local animal shelter has grown into five years of hands-on dedication to countless animals who need a second chance. Dogs are our main focus, but our rescue hearts don’t stop there! Over the years we’ve helped cats, birds, squirrels, reptiles, bearded dragons, and yes… even a spider.
South Florida Mutt Rescue is a small, foster-based nonprofit committed to the dogs who are often overlooked: tough medical cases, complicated behavioral needs, and any pup who has nowhere else to go. And while our name may be new, our mission isn’t, we’re the same team you’ve known loved and supported for years, formerly Mutty Paws Rescue (MPR), continuing the work we love under a new name.
Our Mission
Our mission is to protect and advocate for animals in need; to be their voice when they don't have one. Thousands of animals nationwide are abandoned or neglected, their fate left uncertain or in the hands of over-populated animal shelters.
South Florida Mutt Rescue wishes that no animal endure pain and suffering and be left alone to face their fate. You can help make a difference today - join us and be a voice for those animals that need saving. Together through education, adoption, donations, volunteering or fostering you can help make a difference; together we can help lower the euthanasia rate in Palm Beach County and surrounding areas!

We believe every dog deserves a chance, no matter the circumstances

Our Goal
South Florida Mutt Rescue is dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and providing medical treatment for animals on death row in Palm Beach County and surrounding areas.
We believe in educating the community on the importance of spaying and neutering animals in order to reduce the over-population of shelter animals. We are a foster-based rescue that depends on the support of our community to help with our mission to save as many animals as possible.
